James Station Caboose

This project is a one-o-a-kind renovated Sourthern Railroad caboose that overlooks the James River and the tree lined horizon of Amherst County. The Owners developed the caboose as an Airbnb property. The caboose has an open feel with a combined bedroom, living room and kitchen. A bath at one end provides the necessary privacy for the residents.
The river side of the train car features a large deck with fire pit and grill. The property is located adjacent to the Daniel's Hill Historic District and within walking distance of downtown Lynchburg.
